Men's and Women's Indesit European Champions League 2007/08

Luxembourg, 5th February 2008. Following the total of 60 matches in the women’s and 72 matches in the men’s League Rounds, 6 players have deserved one and two players two of the desired awards sponsored by the competition’s main sponsor ‘Indesit’.

The five categories for each competition are Best Scorer, Best Server, Best Attacker, Best Blocker and Best Receiver.

The players will receive their trophy during their team’s home match in the play-off round.

Crvena Zvezda BEOGRAD appointed as organizer of the 2007/2008 Women’s CEV Cup Finals!

This first competition, which will mark the start of the season for the six 2007/08 European Cups finals, will be organized in Belgrade on 15^th and 16_^th March 2008.

Mr. Aleksandar BORICIC, CEV Vice-President and President of the Serbian Volleyball Federation, feels very honored by this nomination: “All the efforts and necessary measures will be taken to guarantee a high-quality organization. Based on the success met during the FIVB World League, we will offer the qualified teams a professional organization and the European Volleyball will be efficiently promoted.”

Το πρώτο βήμα για την πρόκριση του στις 6 καλύτερες ομάδες του Τσάμπιονς Λιγκ θέλει να κάνει σήμερα ο Παναθηναϊκός που υποδέχεται τη Βελγική Νακ Ροζελάρε στο κλειστό της Γλυφάδας (19:00, Sport +).
Το μοναδικό πρόβλημα για τον Μάουρο Μπερούτο είναι η απουσία του Στάθη Ντονά (αντιμετωπίζει πρόβλημα με το δόντι του) με τον Ιταλό τεχνικό να δηλώνει:
«Χρειάζεται να είμαστε συγκεντρωμένοι και να παρουσιάσουμε το καλό μας πρόσωπο κόντρα στην Κνακ. Είμαστε αισιόδοξοι. Σήμερα στα γραφεία της ΕΟΠΕ πραγματοποιήθηκε η κλήρωση του Φάιναλ-4 του Κυπέλλου Ελλάδος Ανδρών. ΕΑ Πάτρας-Μίλωνας και Ηρακλής-Παναθηναϊκός είναι τα ζευγάρια των δύο ημιτελικών της 29ης Φεβρουαρίου που θα διεξαχθούν στην Ορεστιάδα κι από τους οποίους θα προκύψει το ζευγάρι του τελικού της 1ης Μαρτίου.
